چکیده
In this work, we exploit the use of non-patterned multilayer thin films as substrates for surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) investigation. An appropriate selection materials and thickness allows obtaining Fano resonance exhibiting high peak reflection at same working wavelength SERS apparatus. The proposed system is constituted by Ti/Ag/ZnO/Ag/Ti deposited on a glass substrate sputtering technique. effect provided was investigated micro-Raman through analysis solutions lithium perchlorate in propylene carbonate salt concentrations 0.1, 0.5, 1.0, 2.0 M compared to reference (glass substrate) with an average enhancement all bands around 3. flexibility easily different wavelengths combined low cost large area fabrication technology represents main advantage

Polytetrafluorethylene-Au as a substrate for surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy
This study deals with preparation of substrates suitable for surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) applications by sputtering deposition of gold layer on the polytetrafluorethylene (PTFE) foil. Time of sputtering was investigated with respect to the surface properties. The ability of PTFE-Au substrates to enhance Raman signals was investigated by immobilization of biphenyl-4,4'-dithiol (BF...
متن کاملSurface Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy
Raman spectroscopy is the use of inelastic scattering of light to probe various properties of molecules and materials. Incoming photons interact with the electron cloud of the molecular bonds and inelastically scatter. During this scattering the energy of the incoming photon is shifted to red or blue depending on the particular process. This phenomenon is called Raman scattering and was discove...
متن کاملSurface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy.
The ability to control the size, shape, and material of a surface has reinvigorated the field of surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS). Because excitation of the localized surface plasmon resonance of a nanostructured surface or nanoparticle lies at the heart of SERS, the ability to reliably control the surface characteristics has taken SERS from an interesting surface phenomenon to a rapi...
متن کاملBiosensing Based on Surface-Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy by Using Metal Nanoparticles
Surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) is a promising tool in the analytical science because it provides good selectivity and sensitivity without the labeling process required by fluorescence detection. This technique consists of locating the target analyte on nanometer range of roughed Au-nanoparticles. The presence of the metal nanoparticles provides a tremendous enhancement to the result...
متن کاملA Review of Surface-Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy on Potential Clinical Applications Towards Diagnosing Colorectal Cancer
Colorectal cancer (CRC) is one of the leading cancers in the world and early-screening is still the best method of cancer patient survival. However, colonoscopy as the current gold standard is not without flaws and an emerging technique called surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) coupled with machine learning is a possible candidate that could be applied in parallel with colonoscopy. This...
